Hi everyone.. I have had my springs replaced all around at the Audi dealers in Algeciras (Southern Spain). The car was in the service department for nearly 3 months (!) They waited for parts they said.. Now, I have had the car back for some months, but I have this suspicious feeling the springs are NOT the orginal ones... I think perhaps they may be for an audi 200? What happens is that I think the car feels too "wavy" and "loose". If I fill up the tank with fuel the rear guards come down to about 3 cm from the wheels. Now imagine I load up the boot with suitcases and stick 4 adults in the car...
Something is not right.
I need a fabrication number for the original springs for the car. (3.6 1989-90),,,anyone?
Then I can check with the fab. nr. on the springs currently on the car and hopefully clear up for good whether or not they are in fact the right ones...
Thanx a million all
