My problem starts with locking my car with an aftermarket remote control and having my only key in the car! That would not be a problem if the battery had not drained. Now I can't open the car with the remote. I would need to inject some fresh battery power into the system. To get access to the jump start connector in the engine bay I took out the rubber above the headlight. But it is difficult to see. For a proper probe I would need the distance from the headlamp glass to the positive jump start connector and also the distance from the fender recess to the connector. Any other idea where to inject some +12V would also be appreciated of course. Thanks! Thomas Post Extras
