Hier wird einiges durcheinander gebracht.Den S4 (C4) gab es mit 2 Motorisierungen:

2.2 turbo 20V ,230 PS,(08/91 - 6/94),den gab es mit 5-Gang Schaltgetriebe und gegen Aufpreis mit der 4-Gang Automatik.Die Bremse war eine UFO-Anlage.

4.2 V8,280 PS,10/92-6/94,ausschliesslich mit 6-Gang Schaltgetriebe und ausschliesslich mit HP2 Bremse.
Nach dem FL und Änderung der Nomenklatur (100/S4 in A6/S6 ) ab 7/94 wurde auch in dem"kleinen" S6(2.2 turbo) nur noch die HP2 verbaut.
