How to still the V8 for the Whinter

I am not driving in my V8' in the whinter time, so i will asked how to still it in my garage for the whinter on the best way.
Is ther some i shall do or take care about ?
What about the energine ! somthing i shall take special care about ? is it best to start it somtimes or shall it have some oil or shall it just let it stand ?
What about the battery ! shall it stay or shall i take it out ?
The car will stand from 1/12 to 1/4 about 4 month.
