Mine cracked and spewed oil (but it wasn't in the quantity you are talking about.) You might want to take the engine cover off (7 screws) and see what you can see. My hose was a $50 dealer only part, so I used to hose clamps and a 1/2" coper pipe fitting to fix it. :-) Good luck!
