I was very suprised to see that the gearbox and torque converter on the donor car are new, there was not a spec of grease or oil, or even dust on the torque converter! and still had the garage's name written on it. So tonight I start the laborious task of stripping the engine down and cleaning it ready to mount in the kitcar. I need to drill the block for the turbi drains and find a good source for the turbo feeds. I also want to reverse the inlet plenum so the inlet is over the cam belt covers, this will simplify the turbo setup and give me more room The gearbox I am using is an 012 audi 80 box, so i need to find a manual flywheel that will fir. On the jag V12 I machined an Audi 80 flywheel, it worked really well, apparently a VR6 flywheel might work.. Twin turbo Audi V8 Zonda Replica Post Extras
