A with all things, first things first. The car was running on 7 cylinders, sometimes only 6.
A dodgy HT lead- very expensive 10mm custom leads, but badly assembled. So the spark was breaking down to #4. More curious is #8- it doesn't appear to be getting any fuel. So, time to make another codes lead.
But, currently, it's running so much better, with improved fuel consumption. So, it's going in the right direction.
The throttle pot/switch is an issue- or rather, the completely messed up wiring, which has 5 soldered repairs. Not good ones either.
New fault found. Dodgy connection to the switch at the top of the steering rack. Fixed that, now have Hydraulic system warning on the instruments.
And currently, there is no signal to front left indicator, and is proving a sod to find.
