Reged: 04/08/2005 Posts: 11 ECU swapping       21/05/2006 19:14 Edit   Reply   Is it possible to use an engine ECU from an Audi V8 (automatic transmission) in a Audi 100 S4 with a manual transmission. Actually, the ref. are different between auto and manual transmission. 4A0 997 557 X for audi 100 manual 4A0 997 557 CX for audi 100 automatic the number begin with 441 (instead of 4A0) for an Audi V8 but I don't think it is important because it is a number for the car model, not for the parts.
