Yes, I did find on SF bay area Craigslist. I official owner until 2015, stored last 10 years, sold to a mechanic who got it running however 5% outside allowable Ca emissions, I think it would have past with the little bit more work however other circumstances forced the sale. No emissions or safety inspection in MT.

I flew out to SF on Sunday, arrived to the car & got on with the return trip, luckily no problems made it home. However the car has out of balance front wheels, more severe vibration from rear, almost like the wheels are missing the centering rings. Will find out soon.
heres for few photos

I Replaced all the burnt out bulbs, removed 1 rear wheel cannot believe my guess was correct Borbet Wheel has an approx 73mm bore Audi hub pilot 57.1mm and no the is not any Centering Ring Adapter
I have ordered the Aluminum Centering Rings next will be ECS long stud conversion kit so I can install 20mm spacers and discard those horrible Audi wheel bolts
The Bay Area of Ca climate has been very good to this car in many ways, all the rear suspension bushings are in good condition, CV's are good, I found 1 broken ABS harness on LH front also the CV boot on that side is missing the securing Band Clamp.
Checked around the engine, I can see the timing covers have been removed recently confirming it should have new timing belt, however I will have to inspect it myself for piece of mind. New air filter and top radiator hose, the distributor caps look like they been on there a long time so i will replace those with rotors, Iridium Denso plugs ? and a fuel filter.

Congrats!
I suggest that you also replace the cooling fluid surge tank and its cap, it looks like still being the first one... it's just a matter of time until it breaks, spilling all the coolant on the road leaving you with an overheating engine.
